Oct. 31. If you become angry, drink down these antidotes: kindness, concern for others, and good will. Be like Jesus who, during a storm, commanded the waves, “Peace. Be still.” Anger is like a disease, and can upset the entire body: the digestion; the nervous system; the heart rate; the breath; even one’s mental clarity. Is it really worth all that trouble over something you’ll be unlikely to change anyway?
